Pokhara is a city that lies in the Kaski district of Gandaki Province. And the second largest city of NEPAL after Kathmandu.  It lies in the Westbound of Nepal. – Begnas Lake:(Begnas Taal)

Begnas Lake is a freshwater lake in Pokhara(Lekhnath) of the Kaski Districts of Nepal which lies in the southeast part of the Pokhara Valley. It is also the famous Taal of Pokhara. It is the third-largest Lake in Nepal.

 

  • Rupa Lake:(Rupa Taal)

Rupa Lake is the second largest Taal among the seven Lakes in  Pokhara. And the village near Rupa Lake is called Rupakot. It is the best place for a hike.

 

The above three lakes are the most popular in Pokhara. Tourists never forget to visit these three lakes of Pokhara.

  • Sarangkot:

Sarangkot is located in the northern part of Pokhara, Kaski District, Nepal. It lies at the top of Pokhara Valley. It is also a famous tourist destination. Tourists arrive there to see the sunrise over the Annapurna mountain. Sarangot is also famous for Paragliding. And the best time to reach Sarangot is September to November.  At this time the weather looks clear. We have to pay a certain amount for paragliding.

  • Devi’s Fall:

Devi’s Fall is a waterfall located at Pokhara in the Kaski District of Nepal. It is also known as Patale Chhangon which means underground tunnel as it reaches the bottom. This place is most famous for tourists. Tourists visit there to see the waterfall which looks beautiful. It looks lovely in the Monsoon Season because the waterfall is heavy in the rainy season. And the perfect time to visit there is June-September, the Monsoon Season. 

-Shree Bindhyabasini Temple:

Shree Bindhyabasini Temple is located on the top hill of Pokhara Valley. This temple is also famous for those visitors who are Hindus. They visit there mainly to worship the goddess Bindhyabasini. The temple looks small and sophisticated.

Mahendra Cave: 

Mahendra cave is also located in the Pokhara valley. This cave is the largest limestone cave whose looks system is rare in Nepal containing stalagmites and stalactites. We can also see the statue of the Hindu god Lord Shiva inside the Cave.

This Cave also attracts thousands of tourists every year.

Chamero Gufa:

Chamero Gufa is also known as Bat Cave in English translation. It is also the famous tourist destination of Pokhara Valley. We can see the bats all over the wall in this cave.

 Tal Barahi:

Tal Barahi is a temple which is located in the mid of Fewa Lake, the temple of Hindu goddess Durga Devi. Visitors reach there by boat. 

Pokhara Shanti Stupa:

This amazing and attractive Stupa is located at the Anadu Hill of the Former Pumdi Bhumdi Village Committee, in Kaski district, Nepal which is also the famous part of Pokhara Valley. From the top of Stupa, visitors can see the beautiful view of the Pokhara valley, Annapurna range, and Fewa Lake.
