Bhagwan Parshuram, Parshuram was born in the treaty of the Satyatreta era. Parashuram is not the ideal of any particular society but the ideal and eternal life of the entire Hindu society. He was also in the time of Rama and also in the time of Krishna. He gave Sudarshan Chakra to Lord Krishna. It is said that Parashuram will come again at the end of Kali. According to belief, he will be penitent on earth till the end of time. According to the mythology, Mahendra Parbat is the place of penance of Parashuram and he is doing penance there now.

Parashuram is a disciple of Shiva. Once in Satya Yuga, he went to Kailash to meet his guru Shiva. Ganesh stopped him there. There was a war between them. Parashuram attacked Ganesh with an ax (bancharo) received from Shiva. From that, one of Ganesh’s teeth was cut and from that time onwards, Ganesh was called Ekdant.

In the age of Treta, Parashuram came to Ramsita’s Swayamvara and checked whether Rama was an incarnation or not. When it became clear that he was an incarnation, he congratulated Ram.

Angered that Karna had learned from him by telling lies, he cursed Karna to forget all the knowledge he had learned during the war.
