‘उहिले मेरा दिन थिया र खिर खा भन्या खाइन, अहिले मेरा दिन गया र मैको पानी पाइन (My days were better then, I didn’t eat more than kheer, now my days are gone, I haven’t even got mohi). ‘ Vasudev Upadhyaya of Sinja Ludku-9, a researcher of Sinja civilization, complains similarly. “We need to protect, promote and safeguard the Sinja civilization ourselves. When the Sinja state was powerful, we did not develop as expected,” he said.
